Mountain View High School in Meridian, ID is actively seeking head coaches for both our Varsity and JV programs. We are a highly competitive program capturing multiple Idaho State championships most recently back to back in the 2017 and 2018 seasons and are looking for mature individuals with strong leadership skills and an ability to manage the coaching staff.
Part time year-round. Availability to coach our Spring season and assist in the formation and coaching of the Winter Indoor Lacrosse season if team(s) form. Active coaching generally begins in January. Practices occur after school starting at 3:30p.m. daily. Games are generally at 6:00p.m. during weekdays and during mornings or afternoons on Saturdays.
Varsity: Minimum of 2 years high school, club or collegiate level coaching experience. Collegiate level play can be exchanged for coaching minimum.
JV: Minimum of 1 year high school, club or collegiate level coaching experience. Collegiate level play can be exchanged for coaching minimum.
Pass a drug and criminal background check, US lacrosse member
Structured on years of experience and club pay scale
Including but not limited to:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with adults, athletes and media
Basic computer skills to utilize the website tools and create/collaborate on club documents, email
Good time management
Collaborate with board on budget, fundraising, apparel and hiring coaches
Collaborate and communicate well with assistants and other coaches on practice and game plans
Positive attitude and high energy levels
Demonstrate and promote integrity and commitment to academics, character, and discipline of student athletes
Commitment to develop ALL players in the club
Off season program development and training opportunities
Responsible for care and return of club equipment after each season
Assist team with set up and take down of equipment for practices and games

Rocky Mountain High School Boys Lacrosse Club in Meridian, Idaho has an open position for Varsity Head Coach for the 2019 season. Previous high school varsity coaching experience desired.
Candidates will have responsibility to:
Oversee Fall Program (Sept – Oct), Winter Conditioning (Jan -Feb), and Spring IHSLL Season (Feb – May)
Lead the selection process for JV Head Coaches and assistant coaching staff- recommends candidates to the Board for approval
Develop overall program strategy, alignment and team formation with the JV Head Coach(es)
Ensure that each player has an opportunity to learn skills, improve as a player, develop an awareness of their capabilities and optimize their contribution to the program.
Represent the RMHSLC in cooperation with the Club President by attending Idaho High School Lacrosse League meetings
Candidates must demonstrate:
Ability to educate and develop players at all levels using the most up to date lacrosse strategy
Work in coordination with the Board of Directors, RMHS Administration and League Representatives
Ability to pass a US Lacrosse Background Check
Lead a successful championship contending program with the Double-Goal Coach philosophy - striving to win, while also pursuing the goal of teaching life lessons through sports
